Lee Marlow Interview

After the heart breaking  news that Leicester City owner Vichai Srivaddhanarrabha was killed in a tragic helicopter crash, we spoke to Leicester City fan and journalist Lee Marlow.

The incident occurred after Leicester’s disappointing 1-1 draw with 10 man West Ham United.

The helicopter back to Vichai’s home in West London from the King Power Stadium was a usual procedure for the owner after a home game.

Four other people were also killed in the incident, the pilot, co-pilot and two of Vichai’s staff.

Lee, who was at the game, was able to express his feelings on the shocking event and how much Vichai had done for the club and the community of Leicester since buying the club in 2010.

Under Vichai’s ownership, Leicester were also able to achieve the Premier League title when they were priced at 5000/1.

Today I’ve learned how an interview should be structured and the type of questions to be asking. The questions should be open, allowing the interviewee to go into detail and what has been asked. Closed questions restrict what can be said. I’ve also learned that you shouldn’t ever feed words into the interviewees mouth and instead let them come up with their thoughts and feelings.
